Rio

Rio Gold

With a revolutionary design that allows for incredible loop stability at distance, a unique taper that allows a rod to load at close range and a positive front taper that delivers perfect presentation of flies between sizes #22 and #2, the RIO Gold is the ultimate all-around, floating line for freshwater fly fishing.






 

Rio Grand

The RIO Grand is one half size heavier than the AFTMA standard and features more weight distributed toward the front of the line to easily load fast action fly rods. RIO’s AgentX Technology gives the RIO Grand maximum floatation and the XS Technology produces a wonderfully slick, dirt-repelling finish for easy distance.






 

Rio Bass

Designed for the special disciplines of fly fishing for bass. This weight forward fly line combines an aggressive, short bullet-shaped forward taper and a medium length back taper. RIO’s Bass fly line is designed for fixed length (repeatable) short and long distance casts and is the perfect taper for casting large, wind-resistant bass flies.






 

Rio Pike

Created specifically for the pike and musky fly fisher, the Pike line has distinct advantages over other lines. The medium length head is slightly heavier to load modern fast action rods quickly for both long and short controlled, accurate casts with large pike flies. The short bullet front taper turns over large bunny leeches and streamers into the wind with ease.






 

Rio Steelhead & Atlantic Salmon

Made specifically for the casting demands of steelhead and Atlantic salmon fly fishing. The long belly and long back taper were developed for easy, controlled mends, roll casting and single handed spey casting. A bullet front taper turns over bombers, indicators and other large flies with ease.






 

Rio Skagit Short Spey

A short head version of the popular Skagit lines; designed for shorter two handed rods, switch rods and single handed rods between 9 ft and 11 ft in length. The range of line sizes offered are ideal for rods between #5 and #8 in size.






 

Rio Advanced Flight Spey

The Advanced Flight Spey (AFS) lines are Scandinavian style Shooting Heads. These heads have a long front taper that ensures the softest of presentation and a design that loads rod up easily, resulting in extremely effortless casts of prodigious distances. Beulah Elixir Spey & Switch Fly Lines

Today's shorter Switch and Spey rods need condensed spey lines to maximize ease of casting, overall performance and presentation. Elixir lines are designed to be in the range of 2.5 times rod length and excel with all types of spey casts including both sustained anchor load and splash and go techniques. Elixir lines can also be matched to single hand rods for single hand spey casting.
