Ottawa
With bass, pike, muskie, walleye, and trout all accessible to the fly fisher, Ottawa has some of the most diverse
urban fly fishing in Canada. There are numerous wadable sections of water on the Rideau, Ottawa, and Jock rivers.

Ottawa Valley
The Ottawa Valley has a lot to offer for the fly fisher. Within an hour from Ottawa you have access to three major
rivers (Ottawa, Bonnechere, Madawaska), and countless lakes. Bass, pike, muskie, walleye and trout are all available
and accessible to fly fishers.
Western Quebec
Just across the Ottawa River from Ottawa and with 363 square kilometers of parkland, Gatineau Park has over 50
glacial lakes. These lakes host a variety of game fish including lake trout, brook trout, lake whitefish, rainbow
trout, brown trout, and smallmouth bass.
North Eastern New York State
The freestone rivers and streams of upper New York State are host to tens of thousands of trout through
an extensive stocking program. If it's wild trout you're looking for check out the headwaters of the
small streams and tributaries. You'll find brook trout, brown trout, and rainbow trout all within a 2 hour drive
from Ottawa.
